Will the gourd fit in cup holders?

Do I have to remove the lid to refill the cup?

No. You can pout through any side of the lid without removing it.

Is the entire mate set BPA Free?

Yes. Our lid is made of BPA Free durable plastic, the gourd and bombilla are made of stainless steel. Everything is dishwasher safe as well.

How does the lid protect against spills?

The tapperd holes in the lid allow just enough water through to refill the gourd. However, when the gourd tips over the lid prevents the tea, water, and bombilla from spilling out.
