This mate cup is handmade out of a calabash (pumpkin). Expert Argentinians use their skills to create a genuine yerba mate gourd cup. These Mate gourds were carefully selected by us for the quality, thickness and craftsmanship along with the natural coloring methods.

CURING PROCESS: This gourd mate cup requires a simple curing process: First wash the mate with boiling water, then fill it with used yerba and leave it for 24hs. Then remove the yerba with a spoon and lightly scrape the interior. Repeat the process three to five times.
