There are several hundred species of hibiscus varying by the location and climate they grow in, but Hibiscus sabdariffa is most commonly used to make hibiscus tea. This pure blend tea has an eccentric taste with a tangy flavor.

Made with no added refined sugar, it’s perfect served warm or iced.
The tea retains the ruby red like liquor color which the Hibiscus petals add while at the same time, the sour taste of Hibiscus is balanced by the fruit ingredients of the tisane.
This tea goes very well with spicy Middle Eastern cuisine. Best taken cold, like an Egyptian Iced Tea with a generous amount of sugar.
